🌾 Farming Fields – Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Farming Fields app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Agreement to Terms
By using the Farming Fields mobile application ("App") and related services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. Farming Fields reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes = acceptance.
2. Eligibility & Account Registration
2.1 Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service.
- You must have authority to enter this agreement.
- All information you provide must be accurate and current.
2.2 Account Registration
- Provide valid email or phone number.
- Verify identity through OTP or email confirmation.
- Maintain confidentiality of your password.
- You are responsible for all activities under your Account.
3. User Roles & Responsibilities
Farmer Role
- Provide accurate farm location, crop info, and pricing.
- Do not post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings.
- Do not list illegal crops or substances.
- Comply with agricultural laws and regulations.
Buyer Role
- Communicate professionally with farmers.
- Do not submit fraudulent purchase requests.
- Do not harass or threaten farmers.
Admin Role
- Verify farmer accounts and remove fraudulent listings.
- Enforce these Terms of Service.
4. Usage Rights & Restrictions
We grant you a non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial agricultural purposes.
You may NOT:
- Reverse engineer or decompile the App.
- Scrape or automatically collect data.
- Resell or use for commercial purposes without permission.
- Introduce malware, spam, or harmful code.
- Impersonate another person or organization.
- Post content that violates laws or regulations.
- Harass or bully other users.
5. Content & Intellectual Property
By posting content (listings, messages, photos), you grant Farming Fields a worldwide, non-exclusive license to display it. You remain responsible for all content you post.
All Farming Fields trademarks, logos, and graphics are our exclusive intellectual property. You may not reproduce or distribute them without permission.
6. Transactions & Disclaimer
Important: Farming Fields does NOT process payments or facilitate financial transactions directly. Farmers and buyers negotiate and settle independently. The Company is not liable for transaction disputes, fraud, or non-payment.
Farming Fields does NOT guarantee crop quality, farmer legitimacy, or buyer commitment. Buyers should inspect crops before purchase.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Farming Fields is NOT liable for:
- Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Loss of profits, data, or revenue.
- Crop failure, disease, or market price fluctuations.
- Any damages exceeding ₹5,000 (or local equivalent).
- User disputes or transaction failures.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Farming Fields, its officers, employees, and agents from claims arising from your violation of these Terms, violation of laws, or disputes with other users.
9. Termination
By User: Delete your Account via Settings → Account → Delete Account, or email support@farmingfields.app. Data deleted within 30 days.
By Company: We may suspend or terminate your Account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent/illegal activity, or for safety/operational reasons.
10. Privacy & Data
Data collection and use is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to data collection per that policy.
11. Location Services
- GPS coordinates accessed only when App is in use and with your permission.
- Location used for nearby farms, prices, and weather only.
- Farm location shared as general area — NOT precise coordinates.
- You can disable location in device settings anytime.
12. Push Notifications
By enabling notifications, you agree to receive market updates, buyer requests, weather alerts, and system notifications. You can opt out anytime via App Settings → Notifications or Device Settings.
13. Dispute Resolution
For disputes with Farming Fields, contact support@farmingfields.app. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes resolved through negotiation, then mediation or arbitration in Indian courts.
14. Compliance & Regulations
- Comply with all applicable laws and agricultural regulations.
- You are responsible for calculating and paying applicable GST/taxes.
- We provide no tax or legal advice.
15. Modification & Updates
We reserve the right to add, remove, or modify features, or discontinue the Service with 30 days notice. Terms may be updated anytime — continued use = acceptance.

17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Farming Fields regarding the Service.
By using Farming Fields, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
